Biography

    Currently, he is an Associate Professor at High Performance Computing Center, Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology (SIAT), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Shenzhen, China. He is Ph.D./Master Advisor of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) and SIAT/CAS.  In 2010, he received Ph.D. degree at Institute of Computing Technology (ICT), CAS, Beijing, advised by Prof. Gangyi JIANG. From 2009 to 2014, He was a visiting scholar in Department of Computer Science, City University of Hong Kong (CityU), Kowloon, Hong Kong, advised by Prof. Sam KWONG,  IEEE Fellow. Since 2010, he join in SIAT CAS at Shenzhen. He is a Senior Member of IEEE since 2016.

Research Interests

     3D/Multi-view video coding and standardization, 3D video pre/post-processing, and 3D video quality assessment

     Visual attention, stereoscopic vision, motion and depth perception, QoE

Requirements: 1)Ph.D. or Master degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering, in particular those with good mathematics, algorithm or programming background. 2)Must be self-motivated. 3)Work or study in the area of visual perception, image/video signal processing, or multimedia system.
