With the rapid generation of peta-scale genomic data, there is a growing demand for highly scalable analytic tools to speed up the data processing/mining algorithms for more bio/medical applications. This is especially true when the cost of sequencing itself is decreasing and the cost of the data analysis will be dominant in future.
The Workshop on Large Genome Analytics aims at bring you the recent development on large scale genome analysis methods/techniques/tools. Examples of the topics of the workshop includes: Genome Assembly, mapping, ect.
