The 17th International Symposium on Bioinformatics Research and Applications (ISBRA) joint with The International Conference on Big Data and Security (ICBDS 2021) was successfully held during Nov.26-28, 2021. ISBRA 2021 was hosted by Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and organized by Georgia State University and CCF Technical Committees on Bioinformatics.

ISBRA2021 was held both online with Tencent Conference and onsite in Shenzhen, China. More than 200 delegates from China, United States, Russia, Italy, Pakistan, etc. participated ISBRA2021 online and onsite. There were more than 80 keynote, invited and oral talks in ISBRA2021.

The 18th International Symposium on Bioinformatics Research and Applications (ISBRA2022) is planned to be held in Israel in 2022.
