Call for bids for host PDCAT 2025


The PDCAT Steering Committee is pleased to extend an invitation for proposals to host the forthcoming annual PDCAT Conference in 2025. This conference is typically held during November or December, although some flexibility exists regarding the exact dates. The anticipated number of participants is expected to be around 200. For those interested, comprehensive historical attendance data can be procured from the steering committee.


PDCAT is one of the major forums in parallel and distributed computing, parallel architectures, algorithms and programming techniques. Proposals for hosting PDCAT should include information on the following items. If you do not have all the information, please provide as much as possible.



Deadlines


PDCAT 2025

• Expression of interest with a proposal: December 10, 2024



Proposal shall include:


  • • Proposed location, venue, dates;
  • • Conference format, including any support for virtual attendance;
  • • Organization team: general chairs, local chairs, and proposed PC chairs;


** the final selection of PC chairs will be done by the steering committee.

The steering committee is open to discuss with the general chairs.

  • • Supporting information about the location and the team, such as relevant past experience, leadership, and support from the local community;
  • • Plan of social program: banquet, reception location and arrangements;
  • • Sponsorship, particularly those from local community and governments;
