The 1st Workshop on Generative AI for Mobility Data (GenAI4MoDA 2024), co-located with the 25th IEEE International Conference on Mobile Data Management Conference (MDM 2024), was held in Brussels, Belgium on June 24, 2024. Luo Yuxiao attended the meeting and gave an oral report entitled "Deciphering Human Mobility: Inferring Semantics of Trajectories with Large Language Models".

The 2024 Annual Meeting of the American Association of Geographers was held in Hawaii. Professor Ling Yin participated in the "Human Dynamics Symposium" organized by Professors Shih-Lung Shaw and Xinyue Ye and delivered an academic presentation titled "Deep-reinforcement-learning-based optimization for intra-urban epidemic control considering spatiotemporal orderliness."
