We are looking for Postdocs, PHD students, guest/intern students in the areas of computational biology/bioinformatics, high performance computing.

Postdoctoral positions ( 2 year term) are available immediately in the Center for High Performance Computing at SIAT, CAS. Successful candidates will focus on developing efficient algorithms and data analysis tools for protein simulations/structure prediction, drug design, and genomic/health data analysis and medical image analysis.

Qualifications

PhD in computational biology/chemistry/biophysics, bioinformatics, Computer Science 3-5 years of experience in developing and using tools for molecular modelling (Amber, Gromacs, NAMD, etc), drug design, or bioinformatics (gene assembly, clustering) , or data mining for health data.

• Under age 35;
• PhD within three years of graduation
• Strong publication records
• Good verbal and written skills in English

Benefit

Annual income for postdoc is between 240,000 RMB to 320,000 RMB.
Eligible for applying for faculty, long term positions afterwards.
Housing benefit: eligible for applying apartment for postdocs
Eligible for applying Shenzhen Peacock talents with either （1）3 or more JCR (Journal Citation Reprot) Q1 publications as first author, or （2）2 years postdoc experience with 1 or more JCR Q2/Q1 publications as first author. The award is 1.6 million RMB (tax free).
